officially volunteering for president obama’s reelection campaign 2012 :)
i’m making phone calls to encourage voter registration and convince independents/democrats to volunteer at events and later, i’ll be working some get-out-the-vote-drives.
i actually just made 20 phone calls…and a grand total of ONE person responded favorably. he was actually really sweet and told me that his wife loves obama and they volunteer for him whenever possible.
but whenever i asked anyone else, “do you support president obama?”…it didn’t go so well.
example:
me: do you support president obama?
them: no. bye.
oh well, i’m super excited about this anyway :)
Answer:
I love it too! It’s so exciting that something so ancient could be so applicable to modern times! :)
GOT AN A IN PHYSICS HOW IN THE WORLD DID I DO THAT I FEEL SO MAGICAL OMG LIFE IS PERFECT
AHHHH I’m so happy right now :) Was reading the newest edition of Hinduism Today and there was an article about how Hinduism fully supports gay marriage.
This is the world’s oldest religion (5000+ years old) supporting gay marriage.
In the words of Lord Rama himself, “One who worships me in thought, word, and action, relinquishing deceit, whether man, gay, or woman, is supremely dear to me.”
This is fantastic.
